A five-star, ship-shaped resort on Lara's sandy coast — what the rooms, pools, food and beach are really like, and exactly who it suits.

How we put this review together

This review was researched, written and approved by the GoToBeach product team. The hotels we feature are selected, contracted or reviewed by us, and we draw on first-hand visits, supplier information, guest feedback and publicly available sources.

Facilities, room categories and concepts can change by season, so please confirm the current details with us when you book. Tripadvisor figures below were correct at the time of writing.

Some all-inclusive resorts try to look like a palace. Titanic Deluxe Lara goes one better — it is built to look like an ocean liner, all sweeping decks and a silhouette you can spot from the coast road, moored on the sandy edge of Lara. It is big, it is busy, and it leans hard into the "ultra all-inclusive" idea: eat, drink and be entertained from morning until late, without ever reaching for your wallet.

For UK holidaymakers it ticks a lot of boxes — a short hop from Antalya Airport, a proper sandy beach, a water park for the children and food in genuinely overwhelming variety. It is not flawless, and we will be honest about that below. But as a family-friendly, value-led week in the Turkish sun, it is one of Lara's most recognisable names. And we've just been back: after sitting down with the hotel's sales director Özüm Erzaim and sales manager Öznur Palabıyık last week, and walking the resort to see its current condition for ourselves, here is our honest, up-to-date verdict.

One of Lara's best-known 5★
Guests consistently praise: the sheer variety and quality of the food (the resort's real strength), the sandy beach, the pools and aqua park, daily entertainment and parties, friendly service, and a spotless feel across the public areas.
!Set expectations on: it's a hugely popular, busy resort — book the à la carte restaurants ahead and grab loungers early at peak times. Because it renovates in stages while staying open, finishes can vary between room categories, so ask us for the most recently renovated rooms.

From a dirt track to Lara's five-star coast

We remember when Titanic Deluxe Lara opened back in 2003 as if it were yesterday — it was the very first hotel in what is now the Titanic Hotels group, and at the time only the second resort hotel in this part of Antalya. The biggest challenge in those days was simply getting to it: the access road was little more than a dirt track, with no other hotels anywhere nearby. Guests used to joke that the bumpy drive over the dust was a "free safari" thrown in with the holiday.

Look at the Lara–Kundu area now and it is a different world. Over the last twenty years this has grown into a genuine mega-resort coastline — around 35 five-star hotels line the Lara strip today. There is effectively no beachfront land left, which is why newer development has moved onto the second line, set back from the sea. Titanic was one of the pioneers out here, and the smooth, built-up resort district around it is the proof of how far the area has come.

Here is the detail we find most telling, though. Since 2003, the hotel has never closed for a single day — and yet it has been through four or five thorough renovations. The trick is that the work is done in stages, section by section, without ever shutting the resort. That is exactly what we wanted to see for ourselves on last week's walk-through, and it is the reason a hotel of this age still presents the way it does. The most recent example: the children's aqua park and the kids' club were both renovated in 2025.

Titanic Deluxe Lara is part of the wider Titanic Hotels family, owned by the Aygün family — and if you'd like the full picture of the group, including Golf Belek, Bodrum and Cullinan, we cover it in our complete, honest guide to Titanic Hotels in Turkey.

Location: close to the airport, right on the sand

Titanic Deluxe Lara sits in the Lara–Kundu resort strip on Antalya's Mediterranean coast — one of the closest five-star areas to the airport, which makes for a refreshingly short transfer at the start and end of the week. It is a self-contained resort on the first line of the beach, so the city itself is a taxi ride away rather than on the doorstep.

Where Lara (Kundu / Güzeloba), Antalya, on Turkey's Mediterranean coast
Antalya Airport About 7.5 miles — roughly a 15-minute drive, one of the shortest transfers on this coast
Antalya city centre About 10.5 miles
Beach Private sandy beach on the first coastline, around 180 yards of frontage, with free sunbeds, umbrellas and beach towels
Nearby Düden Waterfalls, Lara Beach, and shopping at Terra City and Mall of Antalya (about 9 miles)
The resort Around 23 acres of grounds — a nine-storey main building plus five low-rise annex buildings

Food & drink: the ship's strongest deck

This is where Titanic Deluxe Lara really earns its stripes. The Aygün family, who own Titanic Hotels, came from the restaurant business — and that heritage shows in the kitchens. Rather than a small buffet on a daily rotation, the resort runs a fixed but exceptionally broad buffet at the Parkfora main restaurant: a grill and kebab corner, a fish and seafood counter, a pizza and lahmacun station, a pasta corner, a daily-changing soup and traditional Turkish section, a serious salad buffet and a dessert spread — baklava and Turkish sweets alongside international patisserie — that is a world of its own. Halal food is served across the outlets.

Down on the sand you don't need to trek back for lunch: there's a pizzeria and a döner counter right on the beach, and the döner in particular is something special. Alongside the included dining, the group's signature à la carte restaurants are on site for a reservation and a supplement.

Parkfora Main Restaurant The vast permanent buffet — international and Turkish cooking across multiple live stations; included.
On the beach A pizzeria and a döner counter on the sand, so you can eat without leaving the beach; included.
Signature à la carte Beef Grill Club (steakhouse, around £50pp), Nori Asian Club (Japanese, including tepanyaki — book ahead), Hasir (Turkish kebab, mezze and a full rakı list), Yamas (Greek, with live music on select evenings) and Pascerella (Italian). Reservation and a supplement apply.
24 Hours Bistro A round-the-clock option for early risers, late arrivals and midnight snackers.
The concept Ultra all-inclusive: buffet meals, snacks, late dining and a range of local and selected imported drinks. Freshly squeezed juices, premium spirits and the signature à la carte restaurants can carry an extra charge.

Pools, beach & spa

Water is a big part of the appeal. There are four distinct pool areas — a semi-Olympic pool, the main pool, a quieter relaxation pool (with a cabana section for hire) and the aqua park — plus an indoor pool in the spa for the cooler months. The children's side was a focus of the latest works: the aqua park and kids' club were both renovated in 2025, with a gentler shallow area and aqua tower for younger ones. Down on the sand, the private beach comes with cabanas, beach bars and water sports.

For grown-ups, the in-house Be Fine Spa — Titanic Hotels' own spa brand, with therapists experienced in traditional massage — brings a Turkish hammam, sauna and steam rooms, an indoor pool and a full treatment menu (treatments are usually charged separately). There is also a gym, and an activity list that runs from table tennis and archery to a diving club and bowling, with daily entertainment, shows and pool parties keeping the evenings lively.

Rooms: sea-view balconies and family-friendly layouts

Rooms come with private balconies, a fully inclusive minibar, air conditioning, satellite TV and 24-hour room service. The fit-out is consistent across the property, so the single most important choice is the view: our steer is simple — book sea view rather than land view. Beyond the main building there are family-friendly layouts in the low-rise annex buildings, and a small handful of villas.

Room type Good to know
Standard Room (Sea View) In the main building, with a private balcony and views over the Mediterranean — the one we'd choose.
Annex Standard Garden Set among the gardens for a quieter, more private feel close to nature.
Annex Pool-Front Direct access to the shared pool straight from the balcony — a favourite with confident swimmers.
Annex Family Room A two-storey layout with two connected rooms, beside the ocean and children's pools — ideal for families.
Duplex Suite & villas A private terrace with a hot tub and floor-to-ceiling windows; a small number of villas are also available.

Our honest take: the rooms are comfortable and well laid out. Because the resort renovates in stages while staying open, finishes can vary a little between categories — so if a contemporary look matters to you, ask us for the most recently renovated rooms before you book.

Who it's for — and who it isn't

Strong fit for

  • Families who want a renovated aqua park, a kids' club and two-room family layouts in one place
  • Value-led travellers who want huge food and drink variety under one ultra all-inclusive band
  • First-timers to Turkey who want a reliable, well-proven beach resort with a short transfer
  • Lovers of lively, full-on resorts with parties, shows and nightly entertainment
  • Beach-and-pool breaks, including shoulder-season trips thanks to the indoor pool

Less suitable for

  • Couples after a small, quiet or intimate retreat — this is a large, busy, social resort
  • Anyone who won't book à la carte ahead or claim a lounger early in peak season
  • Travellers who want a walkable resort town on the doorstep rather than a self-contained resort
  • Guests expecting premium spirits and all à la carte dining to be fully included

Booking & protection

Low deposit: a deposit of just £30 per person, plus the cost of your flights, secures the holiday at the time of booking — flights are dynamically priced, so seats are confirmed straight away. The remaining balance (hotel, transfers and any extras) is then spread across instalments up to departure.

Financial protection: your package is ATOL protected under licence 11211 (Caria Holidays Ltd). ATOL covers the failure of the package itself; it is not travel insurance and does not cover operational disruptions, so we always recommend taking out appropriate travel insurance as well.

Our price policy: if you find the same package on a like-for-like basis elsewhere, send it to us and we'll review it under our price policy.

Frequently asked questions

Where is Titanic Deluxe Lara?

It is in the Lara–Kundu resort area of Antalya, on Turkey's Mediterranean coast, sitting directly on a private sandy beach.

How far is it from Antalya Airport?

Around 7.5 miles — typically about a 15-minute drive, one of the shorter transfers on this coast.

Is Titanic Deluxe Lara on the beach?

Yes. It sits on the first line of the beach with its own private sandy stretch, cabanas, beach bars and water sports — plus a pizzeria and döner counter right on the sand.

What does the ultra all-inclusive include?

Buffet meals, snacks, late dining, ice cream and a range of local and selected imported drinks. Freshly squeezed juices, premium spirits and the signature à la carte restaurants can carry an extra charge.

Is it a good hotel for families?

Does it have a water park?

Yes — a full aqua park, renovated in 2025, with slides for older children and adults, plus a gentler aqua tower and shallow pool for little ones.

What are the rooms like?

Comfortable, with private balconies, a fully inclusive minibar, air conditioning and 24-hour room service. The fit-out is consistent, so the main choice is sea view versus land view — we'd book sea view. As the resort renovates in stages, ask us for the most recently renovated rooms.

Are the à la carte restaurants included?

The main buffet and the beach pizzeria and döner are included. The signature à la carte restaurants — Beef Grill Club, Nori, Hasir, Yamas and Pascerella — require a reservation and a supplement (the Beef Grill Club is around £50 per person).

Yes — the in-house Be Fine Spa, with a Turkish hammam, sauna and steam rooms, an indoor pool and a full treatment menu (treatments are usually charged separately).

The resort operates with a seasonal concept. An indoor pool and selected facilities mean it still works for cooler-month breaks, though some outdoor facilities are seasonal — we can confirm what's open for your dates.

Is halal food available?

Yes. Halal food is served across the food and beverage outlets at the resort.

When did Titanic Deluxe Lara open?

It opened in 2003 as the first Titanic Hotels property and has operated every year since without closing for a single day, back when the surrounding Lara–Kundu area was still largely undeveloped.

Yes — it has been through four or five thorough renovations since 2003, carried out in stages while the resort stayed open. Most recently, the aqua park and kids' club were renovated in 2025.
